the magdalene apprenticeship is a a 6 month magdalene priestess initiation led by Olivia Magdalena, magdalene priestess, professional psychic, and somatic sovereign
over these six months you will have:
3-4 calls per month live via zoom
a what's app group for coaching support between calls (monday - thursday) and community connection (anytime :) )

calls are 90 minutes on wednesdays at 6pm EST ** except for our opening circle which is on sunday march 1st at 4pm EST
by the end of your journey, you will have:

somatic + practical tools to anchor your spiritual practice
a loving and supportive community of magdalene’s to anchor your journey
a deep understanding of magdalene mysticism and theology -- and the practical tools to apply them to your real, human life
we will explore the gospel of mary magdalene and it's companion texts (mainly, the acts of paul and thecla, the thunder perfect mind). to understand both the historical and theological context of these lost gospels, but also how to use them as a guidebook for your journey
we will explore the foundations of energetic science -- how energy moves through the body, how energetics connects us to the physical body, and etc.
we will also explore and unpack the magdalene lineage, reclaim/contextualize the rose lineage (which has often been co-opted by new age spirituality circles) and explore various lores (the red thread, the red egg, the cave of eggs, the holy grail) and other mystic legends of the magdalene
like any other part of the body, your psychic and intuitive gifts cam (and should) be trained and honed -- which is exactly what we'll do.
according to the teachings of mary magdalene, we are here to be fully human, and fully divine. so to be an integrated magdalene priestess, understanding the body -- from a nervous system + somatic perspective is key. we will incorporate different kinds of movement modalities (dance, yin yoga, tapping, heart clearing, etc) to ground all activation into the wisdom of the body
while the path of the magdalene priestess connects to the magdalene, she often acts as a bridge -- to connects us with other deities, energies, or ancestors that are walking with us on our path. we'll spend time in ceremony, ritual, and conversation with all the energies that reveal themselves

I'm olivia, magdalene priestess, professional psychic, and somatic storyteller.
An academic by training and a mystic by nature, I have a Masters Degree in English Literature from NYU and i've studied somatic and energetic healing for nearly two decades.
in 2019, amidst working a trendy ad-tech job in manhattan, i downloaded an audiobook - it caught my eye because it had a red cover, and said something about mary magdalene. as i sat down at my desk to begin to work on the spreadsheet of that day, i hit play, and suddenly my breath had left my chest.
the book? mary magdalene revealed by meggan watterson. it cracked me open, changed my life, and answered a question i hadn't even realized i'd been asking my whole life.
not too long after that, the world turned on it's head -- and so did my life.
over the next few years, i dove deep into the magdalene teachings, initiated as a magdalene priestess, trained as a yoga teacher and a coach, with a focus on somatic trauma resolution.
i then began my professional work as a magdalene priestess, helping hundreds women and femmes in their somatic and energetic healing journeys, training dozens of psychics and priestesses, giving countless professional divination readings, and helping thousands of people connect more deeply to the truth of mary magdalene through social media, substack, and my podcast, the walk of the magdalene.

all calls are recorded and uploaded into the course portal, usually within 48 hours
it's actually very simple -- if you have to ask, the answer is, you are. some people don't initially jive with the title priestess -- or, over time, they realize they're more of a mystic, or a witch, or an oracle -- but the core thread is the call to the magdalene. so, if you're called to the apprenticeship, but the word priestess feels foreign or intimidating, that's ok :) sometimes the resistance is the compass that's pointing you in the exact direction
everything is optional! there will sometimes be passages or pieces of reading/workshops that i think will support you/us on your journey and exploration, but none of it is required, it's all here to serve you!
This is a question only you can truly answer. For me, walking with Mary Magdalene has been a key piece in not only healing the trauma and harm I experienced from religious institutions, but it has allowed me to deepen into a spiritually led life. I connect regularly with god/source/spirit, as well as different spirit guides and goddesses. The way of the Magdalene is one of deep, resolute reclamation. It is one that insists on the beauty and necessity of our humanity as well as our divinity. It is a resolute rejection of the idea that we are inherently bad or sinful -- but rather, as Meggan Watterson describes, our humanity is the whole point. And that each of our unique experiences are sacred, holy, and worthy of love -- not in spite of our gender, sexual orientation, status in the world or otherwise -- but because of it.
"since joining the apprenticeship, i noticed so many changes in my life...I give so many fewer fucks about how other people will feel about me living in my truth and expressing myself authentically.
in that vein, I also came to realize that all that comes from me and my spirit is authentic, and it's helpful to play around with self expression in various ways. I find that I'm more myself, more in the moment and I find it easier to authentically speak my truth.
I see 333 EVEN MORE (I didn't know that was possible!) and have noticed people often bring up wanting/needing the work I have to offer before they even know I offer it. This has helped me ease into my doula roles! I also have been more comfortable leaning into my virgo rising archetype, finding peace in ritual versus feeling constrained by them. ALSO super consumed with myth and folklore recently. The apprenticeship reinvigorated my interest in these in a real way.

i hope to, but honestly, these are such profound initiations and i never quite know where things are going in he coming years. i move very intuitively in my work, so it's equally possible i will offer this next year, or not again for several years, or something else will happen next year. i promise i'm not saying that to try and sell you on anything -- i trust your timing as much as my own, but just like to be deeply honest about how the work is working :)
i'm currently connecting with fellow magdalenes who are experts in areas like womb healing, energy work, divination, etc, and inviting them to bring their gifts to the apprenticeship as guest calls.
i'm still ironing out what dates work/how many folks will be coming in, but these will all be bonus calls and you'll be informed as soon as they are scheduled

It depends on what you mean by experienced! This program is open to anyone who feels the call -- and, we will be going deep. Doing intense energy work, connecting with guides and ancestors, and there will be a lot of psychic and intuitive based guidance. So if you're open to devoting yourself to your practice, and can have a beginners mind about divine connection and guidance, then this is the program for you.
